• Jon and Gym To Operate are going to join Nato Coles (of Used Kids and Modern Machines breeding) for an east coast weekend as The Nato Coles Band. Dates listed on the shows page. Check out some of the tunes here: http://www.myspace.com/natocoles

• A new band, calling themselves "Marvin Berry & The New Sound" are playing their first show on April 17th at 131 Tompkins. (More info on the shows page.) Combining the hottest sounds of yesterday and today. They should have some kind of demo soon too.

NEW RELEASES!

• Our primary mission here at Time To Operate is to make our music as available as possible. With this in mind, we've decided to put up downloadable versions of some new(ish) releases and a "suggested donation" link for you to consider. The idea is fairly simple: if you're a decent person and find our music to also be decent... throw us a few bucks to say thanks. The horrifying alternative is... we keep our records to ourselves and noone ever gets to hear them. Call it an experiment in human nature...

• The few notable additions to the downloads page today are Rejouissance's Moss On Monuments, Sandworms'... It's a Fucking Demo, Urchins of the Night's Reentry, and a brand new album from The Nojons, entitled Men Without Coffee. This is the first time any of these releases have been available online in their entirety.

• In other, more tangible news, there are some shows coming up in the next few weeks. The Nojons might even play this Thursday if the weather cooperates. Check the shows page for details.

• Our friend Barrie of Generic Insight Radio recently conducted an interview with Gym and Jon of Time To Operate. She's going to let us know when that will air on her show. As soon as that happens, we'll pass that information along to you.

• We're happy to announce that Dead Broke Records will be rereleasing the Sandworms demo on cassette at some point in the near future. We'll let you know when it's available.

• In closing, we look forward to the year Two Thousand Ten. It promises a whole world of new music and general creativity. We hope you'll share in the spirit of all that.
